Watchers

Looks like I've got four years at The University of New York at Purchase on the Horizon. If anyone reading this goes there, I'd love to hear what you think of your experiences there. I can't wait to switch up my routines. Hopefully I'll get out of the comfort zone of my sketchbook and paint something extravagant soon. Since I went from cookie decorator to cashier at my job, I have a noticeably lesser amount of colored dyes on my clothes, which should be remedied with some intensive painting sessions. Might be going to Gathering of the Vibes in about a month, I'm super excited. Bonnaroo was a splendid occasion as well. Hope everyone enjoyed their first day of summer yesterday! My boyfriend & I are probably going tubing this weekend. Can't wait. Life's good. Love you guys. :bounce:

thank you, I don't think anyone has complimented my icon before, ever. I find yours to be a bit more interesting, though.

How did Cooper go??? Did you get in?

(I myself did not :hmm:, but I was hoping maybe you did, as you had one of the most interesting hometests of those I've seen!)

Aargh! You were one of the only ones I had hope for! No dice for me either. At least they were speedy about sending my stuff back, as I was going crazy worrying about my sketchbook.

What are your other options college-wise? I'm sure the rest of them are fighting over you.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have any luck with Cooper, either. Man! They are definitely tough one to break into, huh?

Next year I would really like to go to Pratt. They gave me a pretty good amount of merit money/financial aid, and Pratt has actually been my dream school (not to sound silly or anything)since I was a wee tween. :]

And you? What does next year hold for you and your arty endeavors?

Oh man, if you have the means to go to Pratt, you're in for a fun ride. I hope that works out for you, it would be a great choice, and going to your dream school sounds like a nice way to start off adulthood.

I'm probably gonna go to SUNY Purchase for graphic design, mostly for financial reasons. Going to SVA would be my ideal school, but I don't want to take on too much debt before I even know what I really wan to do with myself.

Tell me where you eventually decide to go. :)
