Original is on a 2' by 3'piece of matte board. Colored it in with Photoshop, but didn't really alter any of the lines. Been working on this for nearly a year. I can't believe it's done. Be sure to visit maze around the larger head's pink halo (You can solve it!), and the underwater mini city near bottom of the tank (there's treasure to be found).
It's supposed to represent various metaphors, many of which I've been thinking about a lot this year or encountered in my life in some way. The fishbowl is most's view of reality, with their false beliefs encasing them in a little fishy haven. The little climbing guy is under the impression he's climbing to heaven, so says the sign. However, his ladder quickly turns into a railroad the second it leaves the fish bowl, inhabited by a vicious brainwash train (you can tell from the brainwash he's pouring into his tank). The brainwashing train is spouting from the mouth of a presidential face, gracing the surface of a dollar bill. Money makes us all believe stupid shit, doesn't it? Another example of living under false pretenses, and putting up a glass wall between yourself and the truth. The glass is already breaking as the little climber crawls towards certain doom (realization). Everything is already being sucked down the drain, even. No sooner have you opened your eyes, and the whole thing gurgles down the pipe.

Thank you! I spent so long on the detail that I don't even remember drawing parts of it. Little characters and hidden words present themselves when I zoom in and look around sometimes, it's nice to surprise myself.
